HOW MANY TIMES?
4/1/20234 min read

It’s a weekend!!! Yaaaaaay!!!! Time to RESET…….“Again????” you say. Yes, again.
Have you ever felt like you simply CANNOT go to God about the saaaaaaaaaame thing AGAIN? Have you not even bothered to pray about something because you have decided you are fed up with you on this matter, so God must be fed up too?
Have you felt God must be saying “she’s back here again? She aint serious!”
Take a look at this video.

Would you try to get that sheep unstuck again? Well a Shepherd would. No matter how many times that sheep got himself stuck, the Shepherd would rescue it.
So, have you given up on yourself? “I’ll never get rid of this bad habit.” “I’ll never be able to do better at this?” “I’ll never stick to this” “I can never change.” “I will forever be stuck here!”
Whether it’s sticking to a diet or exercise, breaking a vice, getting out of a self-inflicted hopelessly bad situation, or just being disciplined about anything at all, don’t we often feel like giving up? Don’t we often actually give up and do nothing? I know I do. I need this reminder probably more than you do.
Do you know we have an enemy? Yes we do. He’s that voice speaking all these lies to us. He is the one whose mission in life is to kill, steal and destroy - from the very beginning in the garden of Eden, until now. He tries to kill our dreams, steal our joy and peace, destroy our relationship with God and others, and our future.
God, on the other hand, is our Shepherd and does not get fed up of us. He is not like man. His mission is to give us ABUNDANT LIFE. He gives us the opportunity to reset as many times as we need to. My sista, “The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is His faithfulness; His mercies begin afresh each morning.” (Lamentations 3:22-24)
Think about those words of truth for a moment.
We get to reset every morning. In fact, we get to reset every time we need to.
